誰是Bright Eyes？我想張鐵志先生的這篇文章已說明的很清楚。
樂團主腦Conor Oberst是一個不屈服於商業體制運作的獨立音樂人，這個長相斯文清秀的小伙子，被媒體喻為是這個時代的Bob Dylan。


這首First Day of My Life用一把木吉他唱出了最純粹的音樂，歌詞也很溫馨寫實，如此貼近聽歌者的內心。
最近整個人陷入了民謠的魔力之中，一曲簡單輕鬆的旋律竟然能讓人情緒一下子澎湃起來。
就像最近發片的張懸(我的最愛!)，還有Josh Ritter的《The Animal Years》(台灣環球發行)，幾首簡單的歌(還是跟金曲歌王的創作不太同調)，卻讓我反覆的聽了好幾次也不覺得膩。
雖然張懸的《My Life Will...》這張專輯在編曲方面十方成功，我自己也相當喜歡這張專輯的編曲，讓整張專輯散發出一種大氣，彷彿黃袍加身一樣。
不過，張懸最令人稱道的，仍然是她的現場表演。褪下華麗的包裝，剩下的就是她的歌聲和她的吉他，這時候更能直接感受到音樂人和音樂結合的力量，聽她的現場演唱實在是一件很幸福的事，acoustic的表演讓人深深感受到音樂的本質是如此美好。


Bright Eyes的這首單曲也一樣，簡單的音樂加上簡單的歌詞，卻讓人知道創作人有多聰明。
music video給人同樣的感覺，幾乎只有一個固定的場景，甚至不用製造情節，這些形形色色的人們一出現，我們立刻就能猜想到他們背後的故事了。
導演很精準的拍出了這首歌的感覺，這就是創作者的敏銳度嗎?Bright Eyes其他支MV也同樣屬於這種簡約風格，但都有著很強的力量。


反璞歸真、反璞歸真，真的很重要，凡事但求從心出發吧!生活中最美好的表情莫過於一個淡淡的微笑了。


不過別以為Conor Oberst就是一個溫文儒雅的文藝青年，他也有很叛客的一面哪!他在台上演唱時瘋起來的樣子，可不輸高唱美國大白癡的Green Day主唱Billy Joe呢!
